WORSHIP TEAM
The desire of Hickory Ridge Community Church is to join together in ONE heart, and ONE voice to worship the ONE true God!
The Worship Team is made up of two components that seek to operate in unity: the vocal and instrumental musicians and the audio visual (AV) technicians.
We are always seeking team members.
HRCC Worship Team seeks to lead our church family in worship by playing and presenting skillfully before the Lord. Our sincere goal is to make a selfless offering of song; encourage everyone to praise our Lord in every circumstance free from distraction, and ask God to use us as a blessing to those who need encouragement. We use scripture, prayer, music, and message to draw each other into a spirit of unity with the risen Savior. Our prayer is for you to join in and freely worship Jesus together with the community of believers at HRCC.
Key attributes for musicians are: musical skill and, more importantly, a desire to lead in worship. If you have a desire to be a musician on the team, please contact: Greg Rawlings at grawlings66@gmail.com.
Key attributes for AV technicians is an understanding of automation and willingness to serve behind the scenes. Training is available for the sound board and other systems. If you have a desire to be an AV technician, please contact: Kyle Lawrence at luke42809@gmail.com.

Audition - our audition process consists of an approximately one month series of rehearsals with the group to gauge how you fit with the team and give you an opportunity to integrate before helping us lead worship on Sundays. You will also be asked to present an audition piece during this period. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. AV technicians need to complete free online training before operating the sound board.
-
Commitment - We will ask you to commit to leading in both morning services two Sundays per month (you decide which two). This includes the normal Thursday evening rehearsal in preparation for Sunday Worship. We also ask you to commit to practicing your portion of the music before rehearsals so we can focus on the integration of the group. Lastly, commit to being flexible. Our plans for how we present musical worship frequently change. We strive to be mindful of what the Holy Spirit is doing in worship and react accordingly and team member illness can cause us to change our plans.
-
Sunday Mornings - We begin our mic check and rehearsal at 8am. First service is at 9am with a 30 min break between services; the second begins at 10:45am.

WELCOME TEAM
Our Welcome Team is comprised of dedicated servants who joyfully embrace the opportunity to serve the Lord by greeting everyone who walks through our doors. We deeply appreciate the privilege of welcoming both long-time church members and first-time guests with a cheerful, Christlike spirit. For us, this ministry is far more than a duty; it is a blessed opportunity to truly get to know the unique individuals and families who enter God's house each week.
Our ultimate prayer and desire is that your time with us fills your heart with peace and encouragement. We want everyone we greet to feel a deep sense of belonging and warmth from the very first moment. Our team strives to ensure that you feel genuinely loved, valued, and connected, making our church family feel like your true second home.
If you'd like to be a part of our team, we will work around your schedule, ask no more than you are willing to give, an appreciate your offer of support.
